PROGRAMS, COURSES AND CLASSES OF
1. Programs and Courses: There are several Vietnamese language and culture courses available in two following programs: - Elementary Vietnamese language and culture - A level. - Intermediate Vietnamese language and culture - B level. - Advanced Vietnamese language and culture - C level. - Intensive Vietnamese for specific skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing, etc.) - Intensive Vietnamese for specific purpose (business, studying, research, travel, etc.) - Intensive Vietnamese for academic preparation (pre-university, pre-graduate, post-graduate). This program is available for learners with flexible courses which are designed upon learner’s purposes and request: - Vietnamese Express for specific purpose (communication, travel, business, etc.) - Intensive Vietnamese for specific skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing, etc.) * Intensive Vietnamese for specific skills, Intensive Vietnamese for specific purpose and Non-certificate Program are considered as Special Courses.
2. Classes and Time 2.1. Classes Three types of class are available for foreign learners: - Classes at the CALV - Classes upon learner’s request (for example, at home or in company, etc.) - Online classes (via Zoom, Google Meeting, etc.) Class’s size can be changed as required by learners: - Classes have 1- 3 learners - Classes have over 3 learners. 2.2. Class time - Courses and classes are opened continuously from Monday to Friday in unfixed time, and learners can directly register with the CALV (via telephone or email). - Classes in CALV are available from Monday to Friday weekly, start from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Learners can choose class time to fit their needs. - Aside from classes in CALV, learners can study outside working hours which depends on their conditions. - One period lasts for 45 minutes. One lesson usually lasts at least for 90 minutes (equivalent to 2 periods). Learners can choose the number of periods in one lesson and the number of lessons in a week. - Learners under the school’s visa management must register at least 09 periods/ week.
3. Tuition Fee: * Class at the office: - Classes of 02 learners: 160.000 VND/ period - Classes from 03 to 4 learners: 120.000 VND/ period - Classes from 05 to 7 learners: 100.000 VND/ period - Classes from 8 to 11 learners: 80.000 VND/ period - Class over 12 learners : 70.000 VND/ period * Class outside at the office: - Classes from 04 to 05 learners: 140.000 VND/ period
* Special Courses (Intensive Vietnamese for specific skills, Intensive Vietnamese for specific purpose and Non-certificate Program) will have the tuition fee which is higher than the common courses about 50.000 VND – 100.000 VND/ period based on the specific requirements in the courses.
Tuition fee payment schedule: + In first month, learners pay tuition fee at the time before the class starts as register. + In next months, tuition fee can be paid at the first week of the month.
4. Registration scheme Learners when register to study have to submit these documents below: - Photocopy of passport - Résumé/CV - Application for Admission (in the form 1B) - Study Plan (in the form) - Medical Checkup (for the international regulation)
5. Regulations on tuition fees and class attendance - Learners are asked to pay monthly tuition fees in advance. - Learners applying for the visa have to attend class for at least 36 periods/ month (9 periods/ week; 1 period = 45 minutes). - During the learners’ studying process, the learners have to attend their classes seriouly, do homework enough if the teachers require. - Learners who wish to be absent from classes have to notify the Center and teachers of their absence at least one day in advance by phone, email or letter. Otherwise, the learners still have to pay for that lesson. - If the learners are absent from the school for no reason and do not guarantee the minimum number of periods (for 2 weeks or more), the student visa will be cancelled.
